The first few years of the event, the honoree was Bill Vance. We recently acknowledged the contributions made by longtime teachers Rosemarie Voakes, Jack Schreiber and John Minichiello. by adding their names to the list of honorees in whose names money raised at the event would be donated to the school for bursaries and ongoing student programmes.
This year, we are adding the names of Mike Evans and George Rapanos to our list of honorees. Their dedication to the school and students of Britannia have long been recognized but perhaps not sufficiently acknowledged until this year.
While continuing to thank all of the past honorees , we now also thank Mike and George this for their efforts in bettering the lives of the students, past and present, of Britannia High School.
As always, any monies raised at the Alumni Dinner/Dance/Golf will be donated in the names of all of the honorees for bursaries and ongoing student programmes.
Please diarize this year’s event for September 6, 2014. If you wish to golf, tee times will start at noon. Dinner will be at 6:00 followed by the Dance.
