Won’t You Join Us?
Even if you weren’t a grad of those 5 years, you are still invited to attend.
Planning is underway. 5 graduating years (1968 to 1972) are hosting a blowout reunion for all Brit Alumni to come together and remember and reminisce about the past and share memories.
This Joint Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, September 14. 2019 at the Croatian Cultural Centre in the heart of East Vancouver and will include dinner and a live band. The cost will be $80 per person and any surplus will be donated to the Britannia Support Society.
We have a web site at http://www.britreunion68-72.
More details and a registration form are on that page.
We are really looking forward to seeing you in the Fall of 2019 so please plan to be around and if you are from out of town, plan your vacation to Vancouver now!!!
Grade 7 and grade 8 girls got together to play basketball, make connections and lessen the anxiety of the transition to high school.
Senior players coached and refereed but also shared their own experiences when they came to Britannia.
It was a fun filled two hours in the Brit gym and made possible by Mitra Tshan and grade 7 Strathcona teacher Doug Sherrit.
The grade 8’s pulled off a one point win to maintain bragging rights!
The Britannia Support Society, in partnership with the Variety Club, purchased a 24 passenger bus in June, 2016 to be used by Britannia Secondary, HUB elementary schools and HUB Service agencies.
