Britannia athletes can compete with the best and BSS agrees! Eighteen Bruins were able to play basketball during the spring and summer for top level clubs because their fees were all or partially subsidized by the Brit Support Society. For five years our senior girls and boys basketball teams have been among the most successful programs in the province. To continue this success players need to play with the best but often it is the cost that stops our athletes. Players competed on Regional Provincial teams as well as for Triple Threat and All Ball clubs. New experiences were enjoyed and new friends were made as teams travelled throughout BC and the Pacific Northwest for tournament play. All of these players are the foundation of Britannia’s 2013 – 2014 teams!
